V F Phillips Consulting is an appraisal, archival services and local history research and publications company. Archival services include collections and records management, preservation and conservation. Owner Faye Phillips has performed appraisals of historical manuscripts and artifacts for numerous individuals and organizations. She has provided archival services for the Louisiana Historical Association, as well as families and businesses. Phillips has served as a consultant to the Supreme Court Law Library of Louisiana, the American Society of International Law in Washington, DC, and to many special collections and archives departments. Among those she has consulted with are the Historic New Orleans Collection; University of Alaska – Fairbanks; the University of Oklahoma; at Tulane University, the Stone Center for Latin American Studies, American Routes Radio and the Louisiana Research Center; and the Coca-Cola Company, Atlanta. She has been an adviser to the Library of Congress and other agencies as well as for grant funded projects.

She is the General Editor of the West Baton Rouge Historical Association's The History of West Baton Rouge Parish: People, Places, Progress, 2012.
